This Privacy Policy explains how BSCANNED Inc. (“BScheduler,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the BScheduler appointment-scheduling platform and related websites and applications (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
Who this applies to
BScheduler is software used by businesses (salons, spas, barbershops, and similar) to manage bookings, and by their clients to book and manage appointments. If you are a client of a business that uses BScheduler, that business is also responsible for how it handles your information.
Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, business name, and password (passwords are stored only as salted hashes by our authentication provider).
- Booking information: appointments, services, staff assignments, notes, history, and loyalty activity.
- Payment information: when deposits or payments are taken, card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Communications: confirmation and reminder emails and text messages, and messages you send through the Service.
- Technical data: device, browser, and log data used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
Google user data
If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google profile information (name, email address, and profile picture) solely to create and authenticate your account. BScheduler's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, and we do not use it for advertising. Where a business connects its Google Calendar, we use that access only to create and update calendar events for appointments booked through the Service.
How we use information
- To create accounts and authenticate users.
- To schedule, confirm, remind, and manage appointments.
- To process deposits and payments.
- To send service-related emails and text messages.
- To provide analytics and AI-assisted features to businesses.
- To secure the Service and comply with legal obligations.
Service providers we share with
We share information only as needed to operate the Service, with providers that process it on our behalf:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and storage.
- Stripe — payment and deposit processing.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Twilio — SMS notifications.
- Google — sign-in and optional calendar sync.
- Anthropic — AI features (no data is used to train models).
- Netlify — application hosting.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and respond promptly to any incident.
Your rights

Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
